Paint Colors In Our Home: The City House
Last week I made the big announcement on the blog that we had moved to the country. Like fields of corn and wheat, in the middle of nowhere, COUNTRY. And that we plan to start a FARM of sorts. There are so many changes coming up! However, in the meantime, I wanted to share the paint colors in our home. You know, the old house, which we now lovingly refer to as the city house.
It will probably come as no surprise that our paint colors are very neutral, since I’ve described our home style in the past as a Neutral Modern Farmhouse. What can I say? We love gray, greige and beige because they can work with so many different decor choices.

Changes and Home Tour Page
Hello, Friends! I hope you are having an amazing week. You may have noticed that there have been a minimal number of posts over the past couple of weeks. To be honest, I’ve kind of been taking a vacation. From the blog, that is. Unfortunately, we are not relaxing on some exotic beach, soaking up the sun. (That would be the best!) However, we have been super busy with some very exciting new changes.
I want to share a new page I’ve added to the blog. It is our full home tour! You’ve probably seen parts of our home in the Fall-oween Home Tour Hop, the St. Patrick’s Day Home Tour, and the Spring Fling Home Tour, but this pretty much has it all. Everything all in one place. Primping the Powder Room
I must say that I am in love with our powder room. Currently, it is a calm, yet bright white/gray which makes the room feel bigger. It has been a rocky romance though, and only recently has this love come to fruition.
We’ve owned our home for over 10 years and this tiny bathroom has seen many changes. When we bought the place, the powder room was painted blood red. No kidding. It was like Dracula’s dream paint color. After reluctantly living with that for a couple of years, we painted it a very pale gray color, which was nice. However, as luck would have it, we then moved away for my hubby’s job and renters moved in. Of course, we moved back a couple of years ago.
