HOW TO // DIY Pottery Barn Pumpkin 🎃

I’ve been wanting to make one of these terracotta dupe pumpkins for forever and when I found this gloriously big jack-o-lantern at JoAnn on sale, I knew it was time.

It was super easy to do! I mixed a variety of paint colors until I was happy with the outcome.🎨

Then poured in some baking soda (measure with your heart) to give it a thicker consistency.

Finally, I dusted more baking soda on the top. I tried a makeup brush to spread it out, but honestly, was easier to do by hand. 👋🏻

We transformed our dingy basement into a fun, functional family gym space! 🏋️‍♂️🏡✨

From fresh white walls to sleek new flooring, we tackled it all with a little DIY magic and some amazing finds from @loweshomeimprovement!

This project has completely changed the way we use this space, and we couldn’t be happier with the results.

Whether it’s cardio, strength training, playing, or just a little dancing, this gym works for everyone in the family! 🙌

Here’s what we did:
🤍 Brightened the walls & ceiling with Sherwin Williams Pure White
🖤 Added a bold Tricorn Black accent wall
🤎 Installed gorgeous Florian Oak laminate flooring
🩶Put up large mirrors (so ready for those workout moves!)

🖤 Get ready to scare up some fun in the kitchen with this hauntingly good twist on Italian pasta salad!

Complete with mozzarella skulls that look like they’ve risen from the grave, this dish is perfect for your next spooky gathering—or just a fun night in! 🎃

👻 Ingredients:
- Black Pasta
- Girad’s Champagne Dressing
- Smoked Sausage
- Green Bell Pepper
- Red Bell Pepper
- Red Onion
- Creepy-Cool Mozzarella Skulls (use fresh mozzarella balls or mozzarella sticks)
- Balsamic Vinegar (optional for color)

🧄 Step-by-step: Dice everything. Melt mozzarella in molds at 350° for a 8 minutes. Boil pasta - drain & rinse. Toss together.

It’s been a hot minute since we’ve done a fun project and we are currently partnering with @loweshomimprovement to give our dingy basement gym a makeover! #lowespartner #lowesproject

We wanted to transform this unfinished space into a multifunctional family gym area that we can all use and benefit from.👟

Plus, I’m big on aesthetics, so I wanted something functional AND pretty. 💅🏻

Working within our budget, we plan to:

🤍 Brighten walls/ceiling with a fresh coat of Sherwin Williams Pure White paint

🤍 Paint the back wall w/ Sherwin Williams Tricorn Black to allow the pipes, battle rope, & tv to blend in

🤍 Install new Style Selections Florian Oak Wood Plank Laminate flooring

🤍 Add large wall mirrors (the dancer in me is soooo excited 🩰)

🤍 Build-in our freestanding sauna

I’ve wanted to find one of these Disney Frozen castles for awhile now, but everything on marketplace was too far away or way too pricey.

I finally snagged this one for $30 and after 3 cans of spray paint and a few embellishments we have finished look.

I feel Iike it adds a nice little touch to our holiday decor.
